15.2 Articles of Consumption, Equipment etc.

Examples where the university is allowed to charge the students:

  • course literature, including the students’ own essays
  • printouts and copies of essays, compendia and degree projects
  • disks and computer printouts
  • copying
  • parking permits.

The price must not exceed the cost price. Students must always be free to find some other way of obtaining materials necessary for their course. Students must be informed by the beginning of term at latest that the department will make a charge for handouts, and of the procedure for collecting payment.

The department will always defray the cost of copying work submitted by students insofar as the copies required by the department for its own purposes are concerned.
