Academic Resource Centre (ARC) - for a successful academic experience

Do you have to read, write or present in English? Would you like to receive some feedback? The following services might be of interest to you.

Whether you are an undergraduate, a master's student or a PhD student, you can turn to the ARC with your questions about academic skills.

Are you a distance student?

We can certainly help you via Skype, e-mail or by phone.

Self help - step by step

  1. Read the information available here on our webpages. There are many links to useful web resources in English.
  2. E-mail your questions to the ARC, please use the contact form to the right. When you write your e-mail, please provide the following information: course or program you are enrolled in; whether you are an undergraduate, master or PhD student; your specific questions.
  3. If you would like to meet with a tutor, then you can schedule an appointment for a one-on-one writing tutorial, feedback on a presentation, help with strategies for note-taking and reading. Appointments are not always available the same week an appointment is requested. At the end of a term, there can be a two-week waiting period for an appointment.
