Drop in

During drop in to a nurse or a social counsellor, you get a short consultation to identify your need of help. You can get support in matters relating to your physical, mental or psychosocial health situation.

Drop in to a nurse

  • Test for chlamydia, gonorrhea and HIV (free of charge).
  • Get medical advice concerning your physical health, self-care and lifestyle issues.

Drop in to a social counsellor

  • Shorter advice for example in psychosocial issues, stress management and study related issues.
  •  Book an appointment for counselling.

Information prior to contacting the Student Health Service

Visits to the Student Health Service are free of charge.

The waiting time for counselling very rarely exceeds three weeks.

Your contacts with the Student Health Service will be journaled in accordance with the Patient Data Act (Patientdatalagen SFS 2008:355) to ensure your patient safety, so bring your ID documents at your visits to the Student Health Service.

The staff at the Student Health Service observes confidentiality in accordance with the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (SFS 2009:400).
