Telephone advice and booking for counselling

One way to contact the Student Health Service is by calling us during our telephone hours.

During our telephone hours, you can get help with short questions about your health. The call may lead us to schedule appointments for further counselling or refer you on to the appropriate health care provider.

Telephone hours to social counsellor

  • Counselling in psychosocial issues, stress management and study related issues.
  • Book an appointment for counselling.

Telephone hours to nurse

  • Counselling in primarily physical health issues, self-care and lifestyle.
  • Book an appointment to carry out a lifestyle profile.

Information prior to contacting the Student Health Service

Visits to the Student Health Service are free of charge.

The waiting time for counselling very rarely exceeds three weeks.

Your contacts with the Student Health Service will be journaled in accordance with the Patient Data Act (Patientdatalagen SFS 2008:355) to ensure your patient safety, so bring your ID documents at your visits to the Student Health Service.

The staff at the Student Health Service observes confidentiality in accordance with the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (SFS 2009:400).
