The biggest advantage of Umeå University is the Educational system. It is very different from other countries and it allows you to focus on one subject at the time. It makes studies much easier. The atmosphere is also a huge plus. The large amount of young people makes Umeå really friendly place. Moreover University buildings are perfectly connected. It is especially convenient in winter because corridors allow you to get everywhere without going outside. Variety of places to study is also very important. You can use many places, from well-equipped library to many specially constructed studying areas. And if you get tired of studying you can always go by the campus pond to spend some time with your friends.

What do you find as the biggest cultural difference, both socially and educationally, from your country with Sweden?
The technology on University is very advanced. Using cambro lecturers can post all the information, instructions, and materials for study in the internet. It makes the study itself much easier because you have everything you need. The other difference in studying is that you study just on subject at the time. Also you have few hours of studies every week so you can make the schedule of your learning process yourself. Talking about cultural differences the most visible for me is respect for the laws and rules.
